Our technicians complete 110+ safety and mechanical checks before you buy or sell, including:
Interior & exterior body
Seat and seatbelts, paintwork, mirrors, windscreen wipers and washers, lights and switches, locks, doors, and more.
Wheels & tyres
Tyre tread depth, condition and pressure; wheel rims, nuts and bolts, and more.
Brakes, steering & suspension
Brake pedals and park brakes, condition of hoses and fittings, shock absorbers and bushings.
Engine & drive train
Leaks and noise, radiator, exhaust, fluid condition and levels, and more.
Electrics & climate control
Battery condition, dashboard systems, entertainment system, horn and air conditioning.
Road test
Assess eligible vehicle drive performance to available road conditions*.
*Road testing will only be carried out at the discretion of our technician and only for roadworthy vehicles that also have a current warrant of fitness, a valid registration on New Zealand's Motor Vehicle Register and are adequately fuelled. Road testing is limited to the speeds in force in the immediate area of where the inspection is carried out.
